Description
The Royal Borough is seeking to conclude a framework agreement with multiple contractors who will provide construction works for disabled clients in the Borough. The works consists of adapting properties for disabled clients in Council's dwellings in conjunction with the occupational therapists. Adaptations consist of wet floor shower rooms, access ramps, internal alterations, structural alterations and other minor adaptations. The works also comprise construction of extensions, refurbishment and repairs to existing adaptations. Based on previous work loads and funding it is envisaged that the total value of this contract will be approx. 8 000 000 GBP. This is based on The Royal Borough of Greenwich current spends of approximately 1,300 000 GBP p.a. Whilst no guarantee can be given to the level of future works it is proposed that this work will be allocated to 3 or more contractors for a minimum of three years with the possibility of further extension to a maximum of up to 12 months. It will not be extended beyond 31.3.2020.
