Description
The Authority are seeking to award a contract of single appointment for the provision of Building Condition and Mechanical & Electrical (M&E) condition surveys, to provide the Authority with a comprehensive and consistent understanding of the physical condition and operational integrity of its fire service estate. The surveys will inform strategic asset management, support compliance with statutory obligations, and enable the development of a prioritised investment programme. This will ensure that our facilities remain safe, functional, and fit for purpose, supporting the delivery of critical emergency services across the region. The Authority operates 83 fire stations and a number of other office/training premises throughout the counties of Devon and Somerset. A mix of building condition and M&E condition surveys are required across all premises. Detailed volumes are available within the accessible tender pack. Commencement is anticipated in July 2026 with completion of the surveys and reporting as soon as possible thereafter during 2026.
