NEX24/87 Secured Bus Services - May 2025

The procurement of the operation of Registered Local Bus services in the local authority areas of Tyne and Wear with effect from 11 May 2025. It is anticipated that 11 contracts will be let and operate between 11 May 2025 to 9 May 2026 with the option to extend for one year. Services provided will operate to specified timetables. The vehicles required will be low floor, easy access, meeting a minimum of Euro 5 or Euro 6 engine emission standards, depending on the service tendered, and meeting the requirements of the Equality Act 2010 with a minimum capacity specified within the individual Invitations to Tender.
