Description
The purpose of this agreement is to provide a collaborative approach to the provision of a service to supply imported unlicensed medicines to Trusts in the EMPC/NW. Contract extension in accordance with Procurement Policy Note 01/21 to ensure continuity of supply for our patients. The EMPC have been in closer communication with our supply base over the last year to ensure continuity of supply due to the ongoing impact of the pandemic. Suppliers have expressed concern over their ability to respond to Tenders during this time of uncertainty and potentially being in a position of not being able to respond as their businesses are challenged more than ever before. This would impact patients and given the pressures suppliers and stakeholders are facing, this position would be untenable for all.
