Teaching and Leadership Innovation Fund Round 1

Contracts for projects which will support more and better provision of teachers' continuing professional development (CPD) and Leadership Development, focussed on challenging areas and schools. The Teaching and Leadership Innovation Fund (TLIF), announced by the Secretary of State for Education in October 2016, aims to improve pupil outcomes in priority areas by: • Stimulating more and better provision of teachers' CPD and Leadership Development in challenging areas and schools; • Stimulating demand for provision of teachers' CPD and Leadership Development in challenging areas and schools; • Support development of a sustainable market in CPD and Leadership Development that will be capable of becoming self-funding in the future The Department for Education expects to run a limited number of TLIF bidding rounds during the current spending review period (ending March 2020). This contract notice pertains to Round 1 only.
