Works to Rear of Rockingham Road Shopping Parade

Rockingham Road is arranged with a parade of shops on the Ground Floor and accommodation above. The parades are split into 2 sections with two storey domestic accommodation above one and two floors of single storey flats above the other. There have been numerous leaks into the commercial premises on the ground floor level which some being leased by the Council with others being privately owned. A stock condition survey of the commercial properties has identified the condition of the walkway surface has reached the end of its serviceable life, with the recommendation of renewing the walkway in its entirety. Currently repairs are being undertaken on a temporary basis. The Council are therefore seeking an experienced and competent contractor to undertake Renewal of walkways, stairways and surfaces to drying areas, spoiled brickwork, decoration and repair of handrails and associated works.
