Description

Bedfordshire Fire and Rescue Authority ("BFRA") is undertaking preliminary market engagement for a potential requirement for a modern fit for purpose Fuel Monitoring System at six of our sites to be used by all BFRA's vehicles, located within the county of Bedfordshire, Headquarters at Kempston, Bedford (2 tanks), Dunstable, Luton (2 tanks), Leighton Buzzard, and Stopsley Community Fire Stations). All fuel transactions are currently recorded manually. The requirement for the Fuel Monitoring System will be: • Installation of Electronic Fuel Capacity Gauges and an Electronic Fuel Monitoring System at each fuelling stations. • The information gathered at each fuelling station will be cloud based and be accessed from PCs at BFRA Headquarters Workshops for analysis. • The Fuel Monitoring System must provide relevant monitoring information. • The Fuel Monitoring system must be compatible with the existing High/Low level and leak detection alarms. • The system must record the mileage of the vehicle as well as the vehicle registration, time of refuelling, and quantity of fuel dispensed into the vehicle.
