Description
Nottinghamshire County Council is seeking to commission an evidence based resilience programme to build emotional health and well-being for children and young people attending south Nottinghamshire schools, partly funded by Broxtowe, Gedling and Rushcliffe Clinical Commissioning Groups. The provider will develop and deliver an evidence-based resilience programme in schools that will improve the emotional health and wellbeing and resilience of children and young people. It is anticipated that there will be three stages: 1. Planning: identifying & engaging schools, and ensuring their commitment to sustainable whole school change, and planning activity based on the schools individual needs 2. Activity: delivering the evidence based programme as a whole school approach,( this means school leaders, staff, children and young people which may include approaches such as training the trainer and pupils and students as coaches, mentors or teachers.) and ensuring that schools have the understanding, the knowledge, skills and resources to continue independent delivery of the programme via a whole schools approach 3. Sustainability: collecting data and measuring impact of the programme, and providing trouble-shooting support to schools The Council is seeking bids that offer value for money through efficiency and innovative thinking and Bidders will be required to identify the level of service that will be provided for the funds available.
