Queensway Tunnel Rewire - Intervention Works Design & Build Contract

The purpose of this project is to seek the appointment of an Electrical Contractor utilising a Design and Build contract to address urgent electrical works within the Queensway Tunnel Estate. Merseytravel has recently completed a rewire and lighting contract in the Kingsway Tunnel and have been looking to undertake a similar commission for the Queensway Tunnel. Until such time that funding is identified to undertake this full rewire project a decision has been taken to address some urgent electrical works that will be necessary during the intervening period. Funding has been identified for this intervention work this financial year 2018/19 and as a consequence seeking the appointment of an electrical contractor to undertake the design and installation works utilising the MF1 (Revision6) Design and Build Contract.
