Description

Sheffield Hallam University has been awarded substantial funding by the European Regional Development Fund to create the Sheffield Testing Imaging and Characterisation Centre. Sheffield Hallam University requires a 3D surface scanning system designed specifically for surface guided radiotherapy (SGRT) for the College of Health, Wellbeing and Life Sciences (HWLS). The equipment will be used within the Allied Health Department specifically within the Radiotherapy and Oncology team which is one of the largest providers of Radiotherapy and Oncology education in the UK. The project is receiving funding from the England European Regional Development Fund as part of the European Structural and Investment Funds Growth Programme 2014-2020. The Ministry of Housing, Communities and Local Government (and in London the intermediate body Greater London Authority) is the Managing Authority for European Regional Development Fund.
