Site Clearance site at Woodhouse East

The Contract is for the clearance of the rewilded site known as Wood House East (as identified edged in red on the attached plan). The proposal is for our selected contractor to use a flail mulching machine to clear the immature willow scrub only, by grinding just below the surface and removing any stumps and roots and leaving a fine surface of mulch and soil. All hedgerows and mature trees and woodland are to be retained.
