Description

NHS Wales Shared Services Partnership (NWSSP), hosted by Velindre University NHS Trust, acting on behalf of all NHS Wales Health Boards and Trusts, hereby gives notice of its intention to award a contract following a procurement process conducted in accordance with the Procurement Act 2023. Following the conclusion of the evaluation process, NWSSP intends to award a contract to Delta wellbeing for the: Provision of Emergency Department & Well Being Home Safe Service. The contract will support Cardiff & Vale UHB and Hywel Dda UHB Emergency Departments to assist frail, elderly and vulnerable patients as well as resettling people into their homes and if needed putting them in contact with the relevant support services .The contract will have an initial term of 12 months, commencing 1 April 2026 to 31 March 2027, with options to extend for up to four additional periods of one year each, giving a potential maximum duration of 5 years to 31 March 2031.In accordance with procurement regulations, an 8 working day standstill period will now commence. During this period, no contract will be entered into. This standstill period allows for any representations or challenges to be made before the contract is formally awarded.
