Description

Lot 1 ETM Description: To procure suppliers to supply, install, test, and maintain the suite of hardware and software for ETM on the Weaver Network buses, as part of the ecosystem of operators and suppliers for the Weaver Network. In terms of hardware, the focus of the procurement includes new units, however Combined Authority may consider second-hand units, subject to availability and meeting minimum requirements of this procurement. Lot 2 AVL Description: The project is to procure suitable hardware, software and maintenance of AVL equipment for the Weaver Network of buses in West Yorkshire. WYCA will need to procure around 550 AVL units for its fleet of new, Residual Value and Operator-provided buses in Round 1 of franchising, with an option to procure a further 930 for Round 2 and 3, together with the wiring looms, SIMs, testing and installation, back office and software licences to provide vehicle location feeds.
