Description
Great British Energy (GBE) is intending to procure a suite of contracts to deliver its Technical and Professional Advisory requirements over the next three years. The value of this programme is £18m (including VAT) and it is anticipated that this budget shall be delivered by two tiered Suppliers. These Services will be procured through a Competitive Flexible Procedure procurement which is expected to be launched early January 2026 with awards expected in March 2026. The duration of the contracts will be three years, with a formal performance review of all Suppliers around month 18. At this point, mechanisms will be in place should it be required to demote Supplier A and promote Supplier B. Both Contracts will have a maximum value of £18m, which is the maximum value of the programme, but importantly they will be “up to” this value and no commitment for any spend to flow through them. Instead, they will share this programme value with Supplier A delivering the majority of the work through individual commissions or work orders, unless conflicted, reduced resources, ability preventing them from delivery, or performance issues meaning commission(s) would be delivered by Supplier B.
