Description
A commission to improve people's skills, job prospects and help businesses was launched in Bury in 2016. Bury Council now wish to procure the services of an organisation that will work with schools, businesses and parents/carers to agree a personalised plan to support a young person aged 14-16 years to undertake real work experience in a real work environment. The successful organisation will ensure that the young people participating will have a positive experience and help them move into a positive outcome in the future, such as accessing mainstream education, Further Education, Training/Traineeship, Apprenticeship or signposted to further support. The successful organisation will also have mechanisms in place to collate feedback, participant journey, outcomes and learning to transfer into an end of pilot report that will help inform future opportunities for our young people. To express interest in this opportunity please visit Bury Council's e-tendering portal at www.the-chest.org.uk. The closing date for receipt of quotations is 12 noon on Friday 4th January 2019.
