Lydney Harbour Landscape Works

This request for quotation from Forest of Dean District Council is seeking to implement a landscaping scheme as part of a wider project to improve facilities as Lydney Harbour. The scope of work includes: o Agree contract area and secure site. o Clearance of existing vegetation, take up existing turf and excavate formation levels. o Construct reclaimed stone sett edging and paving. o Install Gridforce 'Mini-Ex' geogrid filled with gravel. o Prepare shrub beds including supplying of imported topsoil and compost. o Supply and plant - shrub stock. o Excavate individual shrub pits and tree pit including backfill of topsoil and compost. o Supply and plant 1no tree. o External works associated with building refurbishment: o Painting of metal palisade fence o Make good soil and turfing (used retained turves) at interface between existing grass area and newly installed stone edging.
