Content Management System (CMS)

Contensis is the Content Management System (CMS) that is currently used by BCP Council at an enterprise level. The software is used to manage, update and host approximately 30 websites both commercial as well as *.gov.uk websites.\r \r The Application Development team are working to consolidate commercial and third-party hosted websites to streamline the Council's content management. Therefore, the cost and resource required to move away from this supplier within the next two years would outweigh any benefits. The proposed contract for three years will give the service time to consolidate and the within the final year review their requirements and undertake a new procurement process to secure best value for money.
