GB-Colchester: Insulation Upgrades to Housing Stock

Colchester Borough Homes on behalf of Colchester City Council (the Council) wishes to commission a contractor to install selective planned upgrading of thermal elements to the housing stock. The properties are selected on their current energy performance and are distributed randomly geographically throughout the borough of Colchester. The works consist of the following: •Loft insulation upgrades and provision of new loft hatches. •Increased roof void ventilation including associated alterations to soffit. •Cavity wall insulation retrofitting. •Asbestos removal if required. •Comply with and report on fire stopping/resistance requirements and issues following survey.
