Description
GMCA is developing BeeGreenGM, a platform to help businesses reuse unwanted assets, reduce waste and lower carbon emissions. A proof of concept has already demonstrated core functionality, including • listings and acquisition of assets • marketplace functionality • indicative carbon impact reporting What we are looking for A live, production-ready digital platform that enables: Businesses to: • list reusable assets • search and acquire items The platform to: • track volume of items reused • provide indicative carbon savings for organisations (e.g. CO2e per item) Approach The platform should: • be ready for live deployment following appropriate testing prior to launch • support a defined set of high-volume asset categories • be able to expand to additional categories over time • support multiple organisations, users and item volumes from launch without performance issues • support straightforward onboarding of organisations and users, including self-service registration • enable reporting at organisation and GMCA level Technical expectations Solutions will need to: • meet GMCA technical standards • be GDPR compliant • be secure (including encryption, access controls and authentication)
