Research into Healthcare Exports

Healthcare UK (HCUK) was founded in 2013 as a joint initiative between the Department for Business and Trade (DBT), NHS England (NHSE) and the Department for Health and Social Care (DHSC). It is hosted in the Department for Business and Trade (DBT) and serves as a single international-facing brand for the UK healthcare industry (both public and private). Revenue generated by NHS organisations is reinvested back into the NHS.  The aim of the project is to gain a better understanding of the global healthcare market.  HCUK wants to understand what the current trends are and how the pandemic has influenced spending and prioritisation of healthcare. This knowledge will help Healthcare UK to prioritise the markets more accurately we focus on for our international trade strategy.
