CBC-0820-Q-LP Review of the Bedfordshire Employment & Skills Service (BESS) - AWARD

Central Bedfordshire Council is looking for a consultant to review the way in which BESS operates and the decisions the Council needs to take regarding the future direction of travel so as to best continue supporting residents and employers across Central Bedfordshire and Bedford Borough; and in line with the priorities of the South East Midlands Local Enterprise Partnership.. We are looking for someone with demonstrable experience and understanding of ESFA (Adult Education and Apprenticeship) budgets, funding guidelines, eligibility rules and adult learning / employment and skills provision. We are seeking consultancy support which engages and works closely with the BESS Team and internal stakeholders and would encourage the consultant to base themselves at our offices at least one day a week for the duration of the contract. The consultant will also be expected to meet regularly with the project steering group who will guide this piece of work.
