9800 - Housing Maintenance & Improvement Works Programme - Omnia 4 - William Mear Gardens, Norwich - AWARD

Norwich City Council requires a single contractor to provide structural and civil engineering maintenance and repair works to tenanted low rise properties. The scope of works comprises of: o Concrete repairs to existing precast concrete Omnia landings and reinforced concrete roof slab. o Installation of new foundations and associated specialist ground improvement works (where applicable) o Removal of existing defective precast concrete stair flights o Installation of new galvanised steel staircases and handrails. o Installation of new galvanised structural steel framing to support landings. o Application of liquid applied waterproof roof membrane coatings to flat roofs. o Application of liquid applied waterproof deck membrane coatings to landing slabs. o Undertaking of drainage repairs. o Provision of temporary staircases to enable the works.
