Description
This service is being procured by Derbyshire County Council, in partnership with the Office of the police and crime commissioner (OPCC). It will be a flexible service providing accommodation and community based support, including emotional and practical support to anyone experiencing domestic abuse living in the County of Derbyshire, excluding Derby City. This will include male, female and transgender victims with or without children and those living with or separated from the perpetrator. The service is available to all victims and their children regardless of geographical location or tenure and will address the individual needs, arising as a result of domestic abuse, of any victims and children using it. The service will aim to increase the safety and protection of victims of domestic abuse and their families in the County of Derbyshire and to prevent harm, escalation of abuse and to reduce the risk of domestic related homicide.
