Description
As part of the COVID -19 Skills Recovery Package and wider Government plans to protect, support and create jobs, Merton Adult Learning (MAL) has received additional funding through the GLA to deliver 'high value courses'. This is a one-off intervention in response to the COVID-19 pandemic (the additional funding represents a top-up for the 2020/21 academic year only). The fund is to provide targeted support for school and college leavers aged 19 years and above to widen funding for sector-based work academies for London. The objective is to support more Londoners with access to employability skills and move into work. This procurement is to be divided into two Lots: Lot 1 - Sector-based work academies for London pre-employment training, and: Lot 2: Access skills and move into work London skills recovery - Job centre plus (JCP) or Work and Health Programme. MAL is looking for a provider or providers to deliver within the total budget envelope of £85k, which is available for delivery of programmes for either one or both criteria.
