Description
NHS Supply Chain seeks to establish a Framework Agreement to supply the NHS Supply Chain customer base via the stock, E-Direct, Blue Diamond and Direct route of supply for products to support needle exchange and harm protection services. Products include citric acid sachets, preparation spoons, vitamin C sachets, needles, syringes and also harm prevention packs. Bespoke harm reduction preassembled packs may be requested by NHS Supply Chain customers from time to time to support the government drug strategy 2017, which aims to reduce illicit and other harmful drug use. It is anticipated that initial expenditure will be in the region of 1 350 000 GBP excluding VAT in the first 12 months of this Framework Agreement however this is approximate only and the values may vary. It is estimated that the total expenditure over the lifetime of the framework (2 years with option to extend a further 2 years) will be in the region of 5 400 000 GBP excluding VAT.
