Hire of Paving equipment with operatives

Stoke-on-Trent City Council is seeking to hire large specialist plant to enable larger scale carriageway works to be carried out by the in-house highway maintenance team. The plant to be hired is to include experienced operators from the provider and will consist of: •1 m Tracked Planer including operative •Standard/Midi Paving machine including 2 operatives •Sweeper including operatives. •Low Loader with tipper vehicle and driver It is proposed that the hire is for a period of 4 years, with no guarantee of business but an anticipated hire period of a maximum of 30 weeks throughout any given year of the contract.
