Description
It is intended that the MHISC framework will deliver low level early interventions provided by non-specialist organisations to address mild to moderate emotional wellbeing and mental health issues. In this way, issues faced by children and young people are addressed early, reducing the likelihood of becoming entrenched and escalating thus and therefore preventing the need to be referred into the Rise Service. The Mental Health Interventions for School Children (MHISC) project will make available additional resources and a pool of providers for children and young people where emotional well-being and mental health issues have been identified through Early Help . This Framework will be delivered in schools, other educational establishments, and community settings as a result of the Early Help process. The intended benefits of these interventions will be to improve the mental health and resilience of Warwickshire school age children and young people (4 - 18) through early identification of mild to moderate emotional well-being / mental health issues.
