This tender was undertaken as an open procedure, as detailed in Regulation 27 of the UK statutory instrument Public Contracts Regulations 2015/102. South East Coast Ambulance Service NHS Foundation Trust invited tenders for organisations to participate in a 48 month Agreement. Capita will provide details of the Agreement and market the Agreement to its clients. The Agreement is also available to all current and future members of The Procurement Partnership Limited’s (TPPL) buying club. A list of members of TPPL can be obtained from http://www.tppl.co.uk/about-us/our-members/. The primary vehicles required under this framework include supply/conversion of accident and emergency, rapid response, patient transport, ambulance service support vehicles. Services include leasing, repairs/maintenance and contract hire. Other vehicles and services (such as short term hire of ambulance vehicles (including specialist vehicles) or Service, Maintenance and Repair (SMR) solutions) that are related to the focus of this Agreement are expected to be provided as part of this Agreement within the closest relevant Lot(s). As an example, the short-term hire of ambulance vehicles is an additional service available from several lots.
