Description

The scope of this Framework will cover the requirements of the North East Procurement Organisation for suitably qualified and experienced lift, escalator and related equipment companies to carry out the maintenance, refurbishment and repair of such equipment primarily across the North East Region. The types of building in which the services may be carried out includes but is not limited to the following: Education including Primary and Secondary Schools, Universities and Colleges of Further Education and Training establishments. Leisure Recreation and Culture, Health, Library, Fire, Ambulance & Police, Day-care, Nursery care, Social care, Social Housing, Assisted Housing, Elderly Homes, Specialist facilities, Transport Depots, Park and Ride, Bus Stations, Recycling facilities, Offices & other operational, industrial & commercial buildings. The specific projects that may be procured under this Framework cannot be clearly defined at this stage. However an indicative list of the authorities who have committed on a non-contractually binding basis to use the Framework is shown above. The framework will be split into lots.
