Description
Sunderland City Council are seeking to appoint a Provider of an outreach programme to work with young males aged 11 to 18 on healthy relationships and understanding of acceptable behaviours and attitudes in the context of respect, sex and relationships. Sunderland Teenage Pregnancy Action plan identifies the need to deliver targeted interventions working with boys and young men relating to healthy relationships covering areas such as respect, values, attitudes, social norms, consent, porn and the internet. The Council are committed to delivering a wider strategy of actions to reduce teenage pregnancy and improve outcomes relating to sexual health and relationships for young males. The programme is specifically targeted at young males under the age of 18 years, who have been identified by key staff members as vulnerable due to them demonstrating challenging attitudes and behaviours with regards to relationships and risk-taking behaviours.
