Description
South Ribble Borough Council is inviting tenders for the extension of the reinforced grass overflow parking area Worden Park, Leyland. The works purpose is to provide an additional 128 parking spaces to the existing parking provision on site. The project involves the extension of the reinforced grass overflow parking area on Moon’s Field, south of the existing main and overflow car parks in Worden Park, Leyland. The area to be surfaced is currently an open green field at the eastern side of the park, west of Worden Lane. The area to be reinforced is 2,560m2 of which 1,521m2 is for 128 parking spaces (2.5m x 5m) in rows running parallel to the park’s boundary wall and 1,039m2 for vehicle manoeuvring and circulation
