Hire of Specialist Vehicles and Plant

Solutions SK are advertising on behalf of Stockport council for the Hire of Specialist Vehicles and Plant. During the term of the contract it may be necessary to hire items not specified within the specification, on these occasions a quotation exercise will be undertaken.The supplier shall deliver all goods by road transport at his own expense. The signature of the person in charge or other authorised officer shall be obtained. Supplier must ensure that proper safeguards are taken to prevent danger to persons whenever deliveries are being made. Any damage to property caused by the contractor's employees or vehicles shall be the responsibility of the contractor who will be required to make any such damage good and at his own expense to the satisfaction of the Solutions SK. No responsibility will be accepted for goods supplied and left at Solutions SK establishments if the contractor fails to obtain the signature off the person, or other authorised officer of goods supplied by the contractor.
