Description
City of Wolverhampton Council ("CWC" / "Council") are seeking to appoint an Architect and Lead Designer Services ("Consultant") for the design and planning responsibilities relating to: 1. The Bilston Health & Wellbeing Facility and external works as set out in Section 2.1.1 2. The Community Diagnostics Centre lower ground floor fit-out as set out in Section 2.1.2 Bids can be submitted for one or both of the schemes in the Price Schedule. The Council reserves the right to appoint a single Consultant for both schemes, separate Consultants for each or not to award one or either. The appointed Consultant is to be responsible for informing all planning and design matter for the Royal Institute of British Architects (RIBA) Plan of Works 2020 design stages 4-7 and stage 3 review and validation for the design and build of the Bilston Health & Wellbeing Facility ("H&WF"). The proposal seeks to design and develop a new double storey modern and integrated H&WF, associated public realm and parking, upgrades to the existing Bert Turner Boulevard and enhancements of the existing Bert Williams car park ("Project"). The consultant is required to provide a fixed lump sum fee for one or both schemes (see Appendix B) Note: Principal Designer under CDM and BSA are excluded from this appointment and should not be priced. The Council are to appoint an independent consultant to undertake these duties.
