The overall aim is to provide evidence that helps implement the GB Plant Biosecurity Strategy, whose emphasis is on: (a) Pre-border activities; (b) At-border activities; (c) Post-border activities; (d) engagement; (e) capability, capacity, skills. The research is directly aligned with these activities and will focus on strategic areas related to new and emerging pests (prevention; detection; control; resilience) as well as more-applied and immediate research addressing priority pests and pathways
