Description
The site for development is an area of mixed used commercial/residential properties, consisting of 4 terraced houses and a former coop commercial unit. The site is particularly sensitive due to the existence of a number of mature trees to the rear of the properties, some of which are currently subject to Tree Protection Orders, as well as being set within an area adjacent to existing university facilities such as car parking and Burgess Rd residential properties. The nature and location of the Project will inevitably mean there is a high level of collaboration and interaction with University Facilities Management to ensure minimal disruption to car parking. The car park and residential areas will be in use during the construction period and there are times when the noise restrictions imposed on the construction activities will be more onerous.
