Description

Defra currently have 56 projects in Landscape Recovery (LR) that are run by land managers with a range of expertise (farmers, landowners, tenants, environmental and community organisations). The range of environments, cultural settings, stakeholders and scales of project also present a complex challenge to draw out robust research conclusions that can be applied to policy development. We are looking for a collaborative research partnership with expertise across the environmental, social and economic challenges that face LR. The Leverhulme Centre for Nature Recovery (LCNR) has been established to champion interdisciplinary research spanning the needs of our LR projects with a common focus on Nature Recovery at large scale. They act as a hub for expertise, bringing people together from policy, practice and research giving us access to the expertise at Oxford University and facilitating wider academic collaboration.
