Description

The London Borough of Hillingdon wishes to invite organisations with the appropriate skills, experience, procedures and financial standing to submit a tender for the following works; Externally: The replacement of all flat roof coverings, associate d trims, decking, flashings etc. and removal and reinstatement and repair of glazed balustrade, the removal and replacement of the Marley Eternit Cedral Cladding, the removal and renewal of all windows and doors, associated repairs to brickwork, render, rainwater goods, grilles etc. Enabling works to external soft and hard landscaping and reinstatement of same. Internally: All Flats - Stripping out of all services, bathrooms and kitchens, removal of internal finishes to external and Party Walls, to install fire stopping, insulation and sound proofing, removal and replacement of floating floors, renewal of all services within flats from mains connections and/or heat exchanger including ventilation system/MVHR, radiators etc. Renewal of kitchen and bathrooms and associated plumbing and builders' work. Renewal of decorations and floor finishes (carpet and vinyl). Common Parts & Sundry Repairs - Fire stopping to walls and ceiling voids, repairs to mains services and plant room, improvements to staircases and balustrading, formation of accessible manhole covers in ground floor, removal and replacement of floating floors and finishes, installation of additional fire door sets and storey height partitions, installation of ventilation and smoke extraction to internal lobbies. The works required are detailed in the Employers Requirements and Pricing Schedule at Part E, the Pre-Construction Information Pack at Appendix A, the Drawings at Appendix B, reports and photographs that are included in the tender appendices. The works as stated above are expected to commence on 8th April 2019 for completion by 4th October 2019. A programme of works will be agreed with the successful tenderer. Before submitting a tender, it is recommended that tenderers visit the site to fully acquaint themselves with the full extent of the nature of the works required to ensure that all labour, material and plant required to complete the works are included within the tender. Any additional costs will not be considered after receipt of your Tender. There will be a mandatory one hour site visit/mid-tender interview held with all those intending to submit a tender over a two day period - 6th-8th February 2019. Failure to attend site and mid-tender interview will render any Tender invalid.
