Description

The site in Hemel Hempstead was a former primary school with associated hardstanding, fields and parking. Following the closure of the school due to dwindling numbers Dacorum Borough Council (DBC) have submitted planning proposals for the provision of 65 residential dwellings. The development team at DBC have been working with PCKO Architects to design an appropriate and sympathetic scheme that can be developed at the site. The proposed tender is for the design and construction of 46, two and three bedroom houses and 19 one and two bedroom flats over a four storey building. The development comprises of both affordable rent and open market sale properties. DBC will market and sell the open market units. The existing school buildings have been demolished.
