Description
Lincolnshire County Council will be undertaking a procurement in line with Regulations 74-76 of the Public Contract Regulations 2015 (PCR) the light touch regime and pursuant to Reg 76 (7) of the PCR for Lincolnshire Independent Advocacy Services. The support of an independent advocate can help a person form and articulate their views about what they should receive in terms of social care, mental health and general health services, explain how they are being treated and feel they should be treated and communicate their views to those in a position of authority. LCC is fully committed to the principles and benefits of independent advocacy in protecting these basic human rights. LCC wishes to see the new Independent Advocacy Service from July 2021 build on the success of previous arrangements in Lincolnshire.
