Description
The aim of the Welcome Ambassadors is to provide an exceptional welcome to all visitors and residents across Southport. This will commence with the Open Golf Championships and July and will extend through the work supported via the Coastal Communities Fund programme of works. The importance of such as role is to engage with the public, offer advice, directions and general information alongside managing any town centre issues such as rough sleeping etc. These Ambassadors provide a face for people and a link to SMBC and BID. The aspiration is that all visitors and residents feel safe, welcome and involved in the town and its ongoing developments. Events such as the Open Golf offer an ideal showcase for Southport and Sefton. Specification 1. A team of 3 full -time Ambassadors, working 9-hour shifts (exact hours tbc) 2. 7 day cover with 2 Ambassadors on duty each day. 3. A full uniform (winter and summer) 4. A bespoke, ongoing training programme, including full induction, health & safety training, ELS, public facing and customer service skills. 5. Licensing and operation of the PDA reporting system, including real-time dashboard and monthly management reports. 6. Full management support and monthly updates with the team
