Description
Serious Violence is increasingly affecting communities across England, and Sutton is not immune to these issues. To tackle serious violence, the Government has introduced a duty on the statutory authorities to work together to prevent and reduce serious violence. However, communities are essential in identifying the kinds of serious violence that can occur in the area, the causes of that violence and in preparing and implementing grassroots initiatives for preventing and reducing serious violence\r \r In view of the above, London Borough of Sutton is seeking a service provider to engage with the community and form partnerships, with the aim of identifying the root causes of serious violence occurring in particularly high harm areas. The goal is to establish a long lasting ability to develop prevention initiatives led by the community, with the aim of decreasing the occurrence of serious violence and its consequences\r \r Maximum budget available is GBP 111,387 for 12 months of delivery
