TD1377- Markeaton Brook Desilting Works

Tenders are invited for supply of services in respect of Markeaton Brook Desilting Works. This project is part funded by the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) Works include: • Removal of self-set trees from water course (as required). • Removal of surface vegetation to walls and deposited silt. • Carting of vegetable matter to an approved tip. • Installation, and subsequent removal of a silt curtain to prevent the onward flow of disturbed silt. • Excavate deposited silt from watercourse to form a clear flowing open channel as indicated on drawings. • Ensure that remaining silt is suitably shaped to support normal brook flows. • Removal of silt to a suitable tip. • Clean and remove any loose detritus from site leaving. Interested suppliers are required to attend a site visit held on - Monday 9th July - 10.00am And Wednesday 11th - 10.00am Attendance confirmation must be made via the e-tendering system a minimum of 24 hours before the date of visit. Please note, suppliers wishing to express interest and obtain the documentation, must do so by 14:00 on Thursday 2 August 2018. It is recommended that you express interest and obtain the documentation well before this time to allow sufficient time to prepare and submit a comprehensive response. The deadline for returns is 14:00 on (Friday 3 August 2018).
