Description
The Police and Crime Commissioner for Cheshire (PCC) is seeking to commission Training for Trauma Informed Adverse Childhood Experiences Pilot Project across Cheshire East and the Sub-Region. The Adverse Childhood Experiences Pilot Project aims to help frontline workers of key statutory and voluntary services groups, firstly to understand Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs) and how they impact upon an individual's life. Both Projects aim to embed an early intervention/preventative approach using ACE awareness and routine enquiry to support people who have suffered childhood adversity. The Pilot is split into two core areas: - Project 1 seeks to explore the benefits of having a trauma informed workforce in a distinct geography of Crewe (place level) rather than embedding such a capability within distinct organisations. - Project 2 seeks to address similar needs as above but within a specific cohort and not a place. More specifically 'Complex Needs Domestic Abuse' is a key strategic priority for the Sub-Region (4 cohorts) A maximum funding for each element of the of the Project is already determined. Suppliers are requested to supply a full breakdown of costings for each element.
