Description

As a part of a £16.1m total funding package approved by the Tees Valley Mayor and Combined Authority and the Ministry of Housing, Communities and Local Government the Net Zero Industry Innovation Centre project is receiving up to £8.85m of funding from the England European Regional Development Fund as part of the European Structural and Investment Funds Growth Programme 2014-2020. The Ministry for Levelling Up, Housing and Communities is the Managing Authority for European Regional Development Fund. Established by the European Union, the European Regional Development Fund helps local areas stimulate their economic development by investing in projects which will support innovation, businesses, create jobs and local community regeneration. European Regional Development Fund. Teesside University requires an evaluation of the NZIIC project to assess project performance, efficiency, effectiveness and value for money. This evaluation should also provide insights into what and why interventions worked (or not) and lessons for the future. It is anticipated that the contract will commence October 2022 and will run until 31 May 2023.
