Provision of Home to School Transport Services for Edgar Wood Academy

Edgar Wood Academy, part of the Altus Education Partnership (the Customer), is a new free school serving the local communities of Middleton and Heywood. The Customer is inviting tenders for the provision of two closed (private) school bus services to serve the temporary Edgar Wood Academy site at Hopwood Hall College, off Rochdale Road, Middleton, M24 6XH. It is anticipated that between 80 and 120 pupils will use the service however, tenderers will be expected to be flexible with their offering as this is a new service and levels of uptake cannot be guaranteed. The contract will be for 1 school year and will run in term time only for 190 school days starting from Monday 6th September 2021.
