Description

The successful tenderer will be required to provide cleaning services at the following participating schools located within the London Borough of Hammersmith and Fulham: — William Morris Sixth Form; — Fulham College Boys' School; — Fulham Cross Girls' School; — The Hurlingham Academy; — The London Oratory School; — Lady Margaret School; — Sacred Heart High School. The Schools listed above have joined together under the Secondary Schools Business Managers' Forum to participate in a tender process with the intention of appointing a Contractor/s to deliver the cleaning services at each or all of the aforementioned schools. The contract will commence on 3.1.2017 for a period of 3 years on a fixed price per school basis or on a group fixed price, whichever delivers the best value individually or as a group. The appointed Contractor/s will preferably be Corporate Members of BICSc and have significant experience of delivering quality cleaning services within school premises. The Contractor should have suitable experience and expertise of successfully managing the TUPE process both from a contracted and an in-house cleaning operation and as a consequence be experienced at managing and willing to apply for Admitted Body Status in order to administer any transferring staff under TUPE that are currently within the LGPS. The Contractor should also have a strong operational base local to the London Borough of Hammersmith and Fulham and be able to ensure adequate contract support and operational flexibility as and when needed across all and each of the participating schools. Ultimately it is important that the Contractor can demonstrate an ability to deliver productivity and efficiencies through the application of best practice and innovation and as a result will be expected to deliver sustainable quality and ‘best value’ to all and each of the participating schools.
