*PLEASE NOTE, THIS IS A CONTRACT AWARD NOTICE* The Police and Crime Commissioner for South Wales has a requirement for the service and maintenance of open protocol cell management systems at Bridgend, Merthyr, Swansea and Cardiff Bay. The service and maintenance for Bridgend, Merthyr and Swansea will commence on 1st February 2018. The service and maintenance for Cardiff Bay will commence on 8th January 2020. Maintenance support will be required 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. Planned and preventative maintenance will also be required. Mandatory requirements: Engineers, working on this contract, must have experience of working in a police custody environment. Contractor must currently offer a support service 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. Contractor must have NSI Gold accreditation, or equivalent, for CCTV, intruder and access control. Contractor must have NICEIC or ECA certification, or equivalent. For suppliers who are interested in tendering, site visits will take place on Tuesday 15th August. NOTE: The authority is using eTenderwales to carry out this procurement process.
