Description
The requirement for an experienced learning provider to deliver high quality, degree level accredited Youth Justice specific learning and development, to support the professionalisation of the Youth Justice secure and community workforce, with a particular focus here on training staff in the youth secure estate. This work is being delivered as part of a programme of reform to the youth estate, run in partnership by the MoJ, YJB, and HMPPS. The programme has been set up to deliver commitments made as part of 'The government's response to Charlie Taylor's Review of the Youth Justice System' published in December 2016. The programme has two clear aims; to make youth custody a place of safety, both for children and those that work there, and a place to improve the life chances of children in custody.
