Description
The National Museum of the Royal Navy (NMRN) are advertising this tender opportunity to appoint a contractor for the works to replace the existing planking on the Waterbus Jetty at the Royal Navy Submarine Museum, Gosport and carry out repairs as necessary. The Jetty is one of the primary entrances to the Submarine Museum and sees a large number of visitors pass across it throughout the year. It is an integral part of the visitor experience, and this will need to be taken into consideration when undertaking works. However, this will be mitigated by works taking place during the quietest time for footfall of visitors and waterbus journeys. This tender opportunity is being undertaken as a Competitive Flexible procedure, with a two-stage procedure, with an initial selection stage, followed by a further full tender submission. The full details of this can be found in the tender document attached to this advert. Site visits are encouraged for this opportunity, which can be found in the tender document. All clarifications relating to this opportunity are to be sent to tenders@nmrn.org.uk
