Description
North of England Commissioning Support (NECS) is a commissioning support service working for and on behalf of NHS England North West, NHS England North East and Yorkshire and NHS England East of England. This was a collaborated procurement across NHSE North West, NHSE North East and Yorkshire and NHSE East of England Regional Teams. The agreed identified commissioning lead was NHSE North West and was the nominated Contracting Authority (the Contracting Authority), who have undertaken a procurement to commission North Region - Provision of Clinical Reviewers to Support Health and Justice in Death in Custody Investigations under the NHS Standard 2022/23 Shorter-form Contract Particulars, Service Conditions and General Conditions; or any edition or subsequent revisions; and the Provision of Deaths in Custody Clinical Reviews for Health and Justice Including Prisons and Secure Children's Home Service Specification The contract term is for an initial period of 5 years commencing on 01 April 2023, with an option to extend for a further 3 years at the discretion of the Contracting Authority and subject to satisfactory contractual and financial performance. The closing date for submission of tenders was by 12 noon on 28 November 2022.
